A dune buggy ride in Dubai is a self-drive desert run in a powerful side-by-side off-road vehicle — a Polaris RZR 1000cc or a Can-Am X3 Turbo — across the Lahbab Desert Red Dunes, southeast Dubai. You drive. You sit behind the wheel, harnessed in, helmeted up, ripping over the same dunes that tourists usually photograph from a 4x4 window.
Our fleet is built around 2026-model Polaris and Can-Am machines, maintained inside the manufacturer's authorised service network. Sessions run 30, 60, 90 or 120 minutes. Buggy drivers must meet the 120 kg rider-weight requirement. Passengers ride from age 9. Hotel pickup from anywhere in Dubai is AED 200–300; from Sharjah or Ajman it's +AED 100.

Our base camp sits in the Lahbab Desert Red Dunes, southeast Dubai — about 45 minutes from central Dubai via the Hatta Road. This is the Big Red dune zone: towering, deep-red sand with steep faces and fast ridgelines that make a buggy feel like it's genuinely flying. We chose Lahbab because the dune density gives you a real off-road raid — not a flat stretch — with enough space for a full guided convoy to run clean.

Per buggy. If you book a 2-seater for AED 350 and bring a friend, you split it AED 175 per person. We never quote a fake-low "per person" number that hides the sharing math.
For guided convoy seats, no licence is required. For self-drive slots from age 18, a valid home-country driving licence is required. Age 16–17 can self-drive in a guided convoy with written parental consent.
9+ as a passenger (4-seater only with a parent in the driver seat for ages 9–11). 16+ as a supervised driver. 18+ as an unrestricted driver.

Pickup is an optional add-on: AED 200–300 from any Dubai hotel, +AED 100 from Sharjah or Ajman. If you'd rather drive yourself to the camp, parking is free.
Yes, from age 9 as passengers in a 4-seater with a parent driving. Under 9, sadly no — it's a safety and harness-sizing issue.
Every ride: 15-minute briefing, helmet, goggles, 4-point harness, sand boots, roll cage, convoy guide on a separate buggy, radio communication. 0 incidents in 8 years. ISO safety certified.
Closed-toe shoes, long pants, long-sleeve top, sunglasses (we provide goggles for the ride). Winter: add a layer. Summer: light and breathable. Never flip-flops, never loose scarves, never dangling jewellery.
